Castillonnès is a 20 minute walk away, or a short 5 minute drive. This is a mediaeval ‘bastide’ village where there is a weekly market, a feature of the village since 1259. There is also a range of services including several bars and restaurants, a supermarket, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a trotting race hippodrome and a championship standard golf course at Chateau de Vigiers within half an hour's drive.
Romarin is situated on the border of the Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne, the ‘Tuscany’ of France.
